What is AliExpress Connect?

AliExpress Connect is a platform used to efficiently connect the top AliExpress brands with the best content creators.

Who are the bloggers using AliExpress Connect?

The access to the platform is granted to verified internal and external bloggers.

 

Our criteria for internal AliExpress content creator accounts:

- More than 20 posts

- More than 10k followers on AliExpress

- Interesting content

- Posts have AliExpress product links and good quality pictures


Our criteria for external social media blogger accounts:

- More than 50 posts

- More than 5k followers

- Positive and appealing profiles about lifestyle, hobbies, travels, parenting etc.

AliExpress Connect advantages:

- Reward/monetization

- Blogger can choose the offers they like and apply only for the offers that are appealing for them

- The collaboration is supervised by the AliExpress team. In case of disputes AliExpress acts as a mediator

- Blogger gets a chance to get an additional exposure on Instagram (if relevant)

- Blogger's content is distributed into prime exposure slots within the AliExpress app (if relevant)

How does it work?

STEP 1: A brand creates a task

A task can include requests for various types of content (video, live stream*, article, list, creatives, content translation, etc.). The task requirements, deadline and reward are set by the brand.

*AliExpress live stream: before you apply for a live stream task on AliExpress, please make sure that you have been granted access to the AliExpress live stream platform, or that the brand is willing to let you live stream through their account.

STEP 2: The brand publishes the task

The task is sent out to content creators through the AliExpress Connect platform.

STEP 3: Content creators apply for the task

Content creators apply for preferred tasks. The details and requirements of the task can be confirmed with the brand via DingTalk.

STEP 4: The brand confirms content creators

The brand will review the applicants and select the content creators.

STEP 5: The content creator completes the task

The content creator will complete and submit the task by the required deadline.

STEP 6: The brand approves the task outcome

The brand will check and confirm the completed task within a 5-day period. If any modifications are required, the content creator can make changes to their output up to 2 times.

STEP 7: Reward time!*

Once the task is confirmed by the brand, the reward will be sent to the content creator within 5 days. If it is a monetary reward, it shall be paid to the content creator's PayPal account.

*Exception: If the brand's product is the reward and needs to be sent before the task is completed, the reward will be sent at a mutually agreed upon time by both the brand and the content creator.

How to enter AliExpress Connect?

FIRST, you need to get a DingTalk account if you don't have one yet!

DingTalk is an official tool for communication between sellers and bloggers.

To register, you need to use your valid mobile phone number with plus(+) and region code.

The mobile phone number you use to register on DingTalk is your default Dingtalk ID.

1. How to apply for the access to AliExpress Connect?

We will be accepting applications via Fan Zone on the AliExpress App starting from the end of February.

2. My AliExpress content creator account meets the post number and follower number criteria, but I wasn't granted access, what's the reason?

The most probable reason is that your content doesn't meet our content quality criteria. Please, check our quality content guidelines here: https://sale.aliexpress.com/postqualityguidelines.htm

3. I've got assigned a task, but the Seller is not getting in touch with me regarding details and is not replying my messages. What shall I do?

If the Seller doesn't provide the materials required for performing the task, you don't need to do anything. After the task expires, you just need to leave a comment about the reason it wasn't completed.

4. Can I opt out of performing the task after it was assigned?

No, you cannot. Once the task was assigned you have to complete it. You can only cancel your task application before the application submission deadline.

5. After the task was assigned, the Brand is trying to add new requirements or change requirements for the task via communication on DingTalk/email/etc, do I have to accept them?

We require bloggers to complete the tasks according to the original requirements listed in the task. It's up to you whether to accept any new requirements from the Brand.

6. I completed the task, but the Seller is late with his payment. What shall I do?

Please, open a dispute. Our team will review it within the calendar month and help you to solve it.

7. I've completed the task and received the reward, but it's still displayed in SUBMITTED TASKS instead of COMPLETED TASKS. How can I change its' status?

You don't need to do anything. The task will change its' status within a month time.

8. How can I get access to AliExpress live streams?

9. Can I update the information I input while entering AliExpress Connect for the first time?

This info is available for AliExpress internal use only, sellers don't see it, there is no need to update it.
